What is myCATS?
myCATS PORTAL AND eCATS EMAIL
The myCATS portal provides a number of features to help you interact more effectively with your university or with colleagues at your institution, such as e-mail, course tools, and other features. Through myCATS, you will have access to e-mail, announcements and message boards, headlines, and more. ECATS email is the official means of communication at GCSU and is accessed through the myCATS portal.
To begin navigating the online world of GCSU, visit http://mycats.gcsu.edu. Your user name is included in your acceptance letter, but the user name is typically your first name and last name (format: "john_doe" or "jane_doe2") and your password begins as your birthdate (format: MMDDYY). You may then change your password by using the "My Account" link. Be sure to check out the numerous online options offered through the PAWS links on the Student tab.
