New Student Orientation
Freshman and Transfer Students entering Fall 2013:
Orientation is a structured program that offers new students and transfer students the opportunity to establish a link with faculty in their intended major, become familiar with the campus and the array of academic and campus life programs available, and "take care of business" to prepare for move-in on August 15.
New freshman who have paid their $200 confirmation deposit and new transfer students are invited to attend one of the one-day (8 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m.) Summer Orientation Sessions held on:
June 14 (CLOSED)
June 21 (CLOSED)
July 12 (Full for freshmen, still open for transfers) or
July 19

Students may register online.
*Registration fees include: programming fees, breakfast, lunch and materials for the day.
*Refunds can only be offered up to a week before your scheduled orientation day.

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the student with driving directions, suggested parking and additional information about the day's agenda. Check-in for the one-day orientation program will be held between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. in the Arts & Sciences fountain area. Late Fall Semester Orientation - August 15
This orientation session is designed for transfer students and new freshmen who were unable to attend one of the June or July programs. Check in will be held between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. in the Arts & Sciences Auditorium and the orientation program will conclude by 3 p.m. The student fee is $30 (There is no charge for guests who accompany registered students). Students may register online.
