Freshmen applicants must submit to the Georgia College Office of Admissions the following documents for admission consideration:

  • Application for admission

  • Application fee

  • Official high school transcript

  •  Official SAT and/or ACT score report, including writing sample – Georgia College's school code is 5252 for SAT and 0828 for ACT

  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended, if any

  • Personal Essay (2)

  • Official college transcripts, if applicable (i.e. Joint Enrollment Credits)

Since Georgia College utilizes a holistic review process, we also strongly recommend that students include a resume of activities (extracurricular organizations, honors, athletics, part-time employment, etc.) as well as one or two teacher recommendation letters (these recommendations should be written in letter format and submitted to the Office of Admissions - we do not utilize a specific teacher recommendation form). Both of these items are very advantageous to help us learn about you beyond your grades and test scores.
