Checklist


Freshmen applicants must submit to the Georgia College Office of Admissions the following documents for admission consideration:

  • Application for admission

  • Application fee

  • Official high school transcript

  •  Official SAT and/or ACT score report, including writing sample(s) – GCSU school codes 5252 for SAT and 0828 for ACT

  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended, if any

  • Personal Essay 

  • Official college transcripts, if applicable (i.e. Joint Enrollment Credits)

Since Georgia College utilizes a holistic review process, we also strongly recommend that students include a resume of activities (extracurricular organizations, honors, athletics, part-time employment, etc.) as well as one or two teacher recommendation letters. Both of these items are very advantageous to help us learn about you beyond your grades and test scores.
