Visitation Events
In addition to regular weekday and Saturday campus tours, Georgia College offers several organized visitation and/or open-house programs:
Fallfest – October 17
Audience: All prospective students
An exceptional opportunity for prospective students to discover the benefits of attending Georgia's public liberal arts university. Get a glimpse of what it will be like to be a GCSU student and have a chance to spend time with representatives from all major offices and departments on campus.
Glimpse Diversity Events- November 13 and January 29-30
Audience: Prospective minority students
This is an opportunity for students to learn first-hand about the minority student experience at Georgia College & State University. It is open to high school juniors and seniors who meet program GPA and SAT/ACT requirements. Please visit the Glimpse Diversity Events links for more information and registration.
Springfest – March 6
Audience: Accepted Freshmen
A great opportunity for students to confirm and celebrate their decision to attend GCSU. Students who are still exploring their options regarding enrollment will discover the vitality and quality of Georgia's designated public liberal arts university. This event provides opportunities for guests to explore interesting aspects of their intended major, enjoy conversations with current students and faculty, meet other members of Georgia College's incoming classes and get answers about financial aid, housing, athletics, academics and student life.
Junior Day – April 10
Audience: Rising High School Seniors
A visitation day for rising high school seniors to learn the "ins and outs" of the college search process. As you begin to explore different colleges and universities, as well as different majors, it is essential that you know how to make well-informed decisions. GCSU Junior Day will ease the anxiety and mystery about the college admissions process and help you to discover how to select which college is the right fit for you.
