President's Scholars Competition

Georgia College & State University , the
state's designated public liberal arts university,
is pleased to announce the President's Scholars
Competition. Georgia College 's annual President's
Scholars Competition provides a chance for high-achieving
high school seniors from across the country to
compete for one of GCSU's most prestigious scholarships.
President's Scholars Competition criteria
To be considered for a President's Scholars Award,
students are required to participate in the President's
Scholars Competition and meet the following requirements:
Apply for admission to GCSU and submit the
Competition Interest Form prior to the competition
Have a 1250 SAT of (combined Critical Reading
and Math subscores only) or 29 ACT Composite
score
Have a minimum 3.5 Academic GPA
Submit a letter of recommendation from school
counselor or teacher and a résumé
with the university application or competition
Interest Form.
If selected to compete, students may pay the $25 student and $15 guest registration fee and complete their competition registration online HERE(User ID and password will be e-mailed to students who are selected to compete.)
