Candidate Forums

DigiBCandidateForum webThe GC American Democracy Project and Digital Bridges have joined together to sponsor a series of candidate forums during the 2010 election cycle. Digital Bridges is a Georgia College-John L. and James S. Knight Foundation collaboration to engage citizens through technology and is located in the Knight Digital Innovation Center at 127 W. Hancock Street in Milledgeville, GA.

The first event on July 7, 2010 featured the Republican Primary Candidates Mike Horner, Ray McKinney, Jeanne Seaver, and Carl Smith and the Democrat challenger to Congressman John Barrow, Regina Thomas. Citizens filled the room and the forum was streamed live via Wimba. A link to a video recording of the forum can be accessed through the Digital Bridges web site or GC iTunes University. On the iTunes University page, navigate through Public Access and then Digital Innovation Group, and click on Public Square.
