Futuristic Swaggers
The Futuristic Swagger group identified the lack of safe "hang-out spaces" for teenagers in the community. The group gathered information about where teens spend weekend time and joined another PA group in interviewing a community leader. The group decided to plan a recreational event called the All Star Weekend at a local park. The students envisioned three-on-three basketball games and a talent show. Due to a number of circumstances, the event was not able to be planned before the end of the school year.
