Criminal Justice Ethics Community Forum The Annual Global Citizenship Symposium focused on poverty in 2011. Art Stop for Kids is a Georgia College outreach program for children enrolled in two local elementary schools. The Leadership Certificate Program (LCP) fosters the leadership development of participating Georgia College students through student-centered instruction, meaningful programming, practical experience, and purposeful reflection. Public Achievement (PA) is a youth civic action program that brings college and public school students together for citizenship development. Health was the theme of the 2012 Global Citizenship Symposium Live Healthy Baldwin is a community-wide initiative whose goal is reversing the childhood obesity epidemic among at-risk children. 2011 Global Citizenship Symposium Environmental Justice Georgia's Public Liberal Arts University Head Start Research Project, Dr. Tsu-Ming Chiang and Psychology students The Sixth Annual Georgia College Global Citizenship Symposium will focus on literacy. Georgia College welcomes international students and the diverse backgrounds they bring to our campus, and encourages all students to study abroad. Georgia College Campus Theatre [Times Talk is one of the best activities this campus has ever seen], is a typical paraphrase of faculty members following their participation as discussion facilitators. The annual Baldwin County Georgia Voter's Directory is compiled by Dr. Jan Clark, Associate Professor of Rhetoric, and her students with assistance from the Baldwin County Board of Elections. In the Emerging Leaders, Georgia College freshmen explore leadership opportunities at GC, participate in leadership development events, and build relationships with others interested in improving themselves and making a difference. MCGA provides space for individuals, families and friends to learn about and to experience the rewards of gardening and sharing healthy foods. An innovative, cross-disciplinary course of study that equips college and university students to become skilled professionals and leaders in the non-profit sector Jazz Band Digital Bridges is a Georgia College venture with funding from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation to create a community-owned initiative to re-imagine Milledgeville in the information age.
