Athletic Facilities at Georgia College

Home Field Advantage

We take our sports seriously here, and it shows in our facilities. From the minute they take the field or court to the minute they leave the locker room, Georgia College athletes have the facilities and equipment it takes to win. We also take care of our fans in the stands because happy, comfortable fans make much more noise.

Centennial Center

The $9 million multipurpose Centennial Center is located within the historical district of Milledgeville and serves as the home for the Georgia College men's and women's basketball teams, the volleyball squad and the offices of the Bobcat athletic department. The 95,000 square-foot building was built to guarantee that the Bobcats would be competing in one of the finest on-campus arenas in the state of Georgia.

The Peeler Complex

The Peeler Athletic Complex, located just minutes from the Georgia College Main Campus, is where the Lady Bobcat softball team competes. It features press box facilities, ample seating and lights for night games. The facility, which also includes Bobcat Field and John Kurtz Field, is dedicated to Georgia College Hall of Famer Dr. J. Michael Peeler, the former athletics director at Georgia College.

Bobcat Field

Beautiful Bobcat Field at West Campus provides an excellent venue for some of the best collegiate soccer in the state of Georgia. Bordered by native trees on three sides to provide a picturesque backdrop, this soccer-specific facility features stadium lighting to host evening competition, a prominent scoreboard to keep fans in the know and well-manicured hybrid Bermuda grass turf.

John Kurtz Field

John Kurtz Field is a great, fan-friendly place to watch a baseball game. This facility hosts the Bobcat baseball team and features box seats, field lighting for night games, a picnic area on the third base hill, and a 10-foot outfield wall which gives the park a truly professional feel. The baseball field was renamed in honor of Georgia College Hall of Famer John Kurtz, the former coach who put Georgia College baseball on the map.
