The Georgia College women's basketball program is
consistently one of the best in the
southeast. Since joining NCAA Division II,
the Lady Bobcats have earned six trips to
the NCAA Tournament (1996, 1997, 2002, 2004,
2006, 2007),
including a pair of trips to the "Sweet Sixteen" in
2004 and 2007. The Lady Bobcats also won Peach Belt
Conference Championships in 1992 and 1996,
and Peach Belt Tournament Championships in
1996, 2002, 2004, 2006. GCSU has been listed in
the national rankings many times over the
years and is always one of the top teams in
the Peach Belt Conference.
The Centennial Center is the home of the
Georgia College basketball programs and is one of the
top venues in the southeast to take in the
excitement. Fans also have the chance to win
great prizes in various promotions at the
games.
