The GCSU women's tennis team may be the most
successful program at the school. The Bobcats have made 14 straight NCAA Tournament appearances
(1995-2008) and have won four conference
championships (1993, 1997, 1999, 2003). GCSU
can always be found in the national rankings,
along with nearly every other program in the
Peach Belt Conference.
The Bobcat teams play at the Centennial
Center tennis facility, located outside of
the basketball arena. There are seven lighted
courts and plenty of seating for fans wishing
to take in a match. The Bobcats play a short
fall season of individual tournaments with a
full team schedule in the spring.
