Cat Cash/Dining Dollars
The Bobcat Card serves as a personal debit card. It allows you to draw upon pre-deposited funds for the purchase of products and services throughout campus. To make a purchase, just present or swipe your card wherever the Bobcat Card is accepted! It's that easy! The amount of your purchase will be deducted from your CatCash Account.
Account balance information is provided after every transaction. Cashiers can also conduct a balance inquiry for you, or you can simply access and manage your account anytime via The Online Card Office. Your CatCash Account is automatically activated when you complete a Bobcat Card agreement form and upon receipt of your Bobcat Card.
All CatCash account balances roll forward – across semesters and academic years. Refunds of account balances greater than $20 may be requested upon graduation or official withdrawal from GCSU. Card office staff can assist you with this process.
*A portion of CatCash does come with the 150 block and 14 meals/week meal plans.
Dining Dollars
Money that comes with the purchase of the following Meal Plan options.
1. Unlimited Meals + $150 Dining Dollar$ + $50 CatCash
2. 14 Meals/week + $200 Dining Dollar$ + $100 CatCash
3. 150 Block meals + $250 Dining Dollar$ + $150 CatCash
Dining dollars allow the student to purchase from the entire menu of any on-campus GCSU Dining Venue which currently includes:
Blimpie Subs and Salads
Books and Brew Starbucks Cafe
Chick-fil-A (on campus site only)
Einstein Bros. Bagels
Sandella's
The Village Market
World of Wings
Both accounts act as automated debit accounts. Each purchase is automatically deducted, and you never have to choose. When purchasing at an on-campus dining venue the system first looks at your Dining Dollar$, if there is not enough in the account to cover your purchase, the amount will then be deducted from your CatCash; it is that easy! Better yet, all CatCash and Dining Dollar$ roll forward term-to-term, even across academic years. You never have to worry about losing your money. Balances greater than $20 are returned to you upon graduation or withdrawal from GCSU.
