Dean's Welcome

Dean Micheal Stratton

Welcome to the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business and Technology and our programs of study accredited by AACSB and ABET. The study of business and organizations at Georgia College is central to a public liberal arts education. Our students develop the knowledge, skills, abilities, and passion to become empathetic citizens prepared to identify and solve complex, local and global problems. Combining a preeminent, residential experience with outcomes-focused education, Georgia College develops entrepreneurs with the critical thinking skills to challenge assumptions and to reimagine structures, processes, and systems. With the mentorship of faculty and practitioner experts, our students are not simply focused on creating opportunities for short-term gain, but are intent on the pursuit of improving lives inside organizations and for creating positive societal impact.

Our distinctive undergraduate degree programs feature unique and meaningful opportunities to learn inside and outside of the classroom. Professional and leadership development opportunities include: national and local industry seminars, panel sessions with professionals, mock interviews, career fairs, student clubs, service learning and research projects, and internship opportunities.

The College’s graduate programs are designed for recent graduates as well as working professionals. The Masters of Accountancy is on-campus and face-to-face. Our highly ranked online graduate programs are: the Georgia WebMBA® at Georgia College, the Master of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and the Masters of Management Information Systems.
