Master of Management Information Systems (MMIS)
Available at the Macon Center Campus in a hybrid format.
The Master of Management Information Systems (MMIS) degree is designed to prepare students for a position in designing, implementing, and managing corporate information resources, or serving as a liaison between a functional area and a centralized IT office. Our curriculum aligns well with the required knowledge for the CISA exam so the MMIS degree is a smart choice for individuals interested in a career in IT auditing as well. This 30 semester hour degree program offers courses in a hybrid format so you get face-to-face classes with the flexibility of online sessions.
According to the 2012 State of the Industry: Technology in Georgia report from TAG (Technology Association of Georgia), technology employment opportunities in Georgia are growing, Georgia’s technology jobs pay more than the average non-technology job, and Georgia needs more technology talent to meet the growing demand. These factors highlight just a few reasons why the MMIS degree is a great advanced degree.
Our students have undergraduate degrees from all majors and work in different functional areas. You do not need an undergraduate degree in a technology field to select the MMIS degree.
