Student Organizations & Honor Societies

GC Entrepreneurs

The purpose of GC Entrepreneurs is to help students who are interested in becoming entrepreneurs after graduation or for those who are interested in entrepreneurship as a hobby, but aren’t sure what to do with their passion. This club invites any student of any skill set (health, art, etc.) and from any College on campus to put their education and passion into practice within the framework of this club.

Logistics Association (GCLA)

The Georgia College Logistics Association (GCLA) is aimed at students interested in logistics and transportation. GCLA works to foster an appreciation of logistics as a motivating force in industry and commerce, through a focus on career development and networking with industry professionals. GCLA invites logistics and supply chain professionals from different industries to speak at monthly meetings, and provides opportunities for students to attend industry conferences, and tour facilities such as the Georgia Ports Authority, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Target, and IKEA. Select students in leadership roles at GCLA are also chosen to represent Georgia College at national conferences and industry networking events.

Marketing and Advertising Club (MAC)

Our club is a collegiate chapter within the AMA (American Marketing Association); a large network of marketing professionals. As a collegiate chapter we are invited to build relationships with the organization's professional members and our chapter is very involved with the Atlanta division of the association. Members of the club network with professionals, socialize with other students in the major, learn from guest speakers, participate in case competitions, take advantage of career preparation and recruitment events and seminars, and attend fun events where we typically receive some SWAG!
