Career Fairs and Networking Events

GC students have the opportunity to interact on campus with over 200 employers and graduate programs each year.  The Career Center and our campus and off-campus partners host over 10 career fairs and networking events each year, both on and off campus.  In addition to these networking opportunities, students can also connect with employers through job and internship postings on Career Connection, campus interview opportunities, and Employer Mock Interview Days.  Our career advisors can also help you expand your employer network through LinkedIn.  Students, we invite you to stop by 110 Lanier Hall to learn more.  If you're an employer that would like to recruit on campus through career fairs, campus interviews, or job and internship postings, we are now on HandshakeContact us directly to talk more specifically about reaching out to GC students.

Students are encouraged to wear professional business attire when attending career fairs in the Magnolia Ballroom or off-campus venues. However, events such as Senior Picnic, the Graduate & Professional School Fair, and the Summer Camp Job Fair are more "come as you are" type events.  Not sure what to wear?  Stop by the Career Center and we're glad to give you some tips on finding professional attire on a budget.

For tips, we have several online videos, handouts, and articles to recommend.
