School systems and other teaching organizations can connect with undergraduate and graduate level teaching candidates. In addition to a networking event in the morning, employers can participate in mock interviews in the afternoon.
IT Career Fair
February 11, 2015
Student Activities Center, Magnolia Ballroom
This event is hosted by the Information System and Computer Science department at Georgia College in partnership with the College of Business and the University Career Center. If your company or department has a specific need to visit campus and see only Computer Science and Management Information Systems students for full-time jobs and internships, then this event is for you. Contact Dr. Tanya Goette if you have specific questions about this event. Employers can sign-up for this event in Career Connection.
Nursing & Health Sciences Career Expo
February 23, 2015
This annual career fair provides health care employers the opportunity to network with nursing candidates as well as students in the community health, exercise science, athletic training and pre-professional health programs.
GC Career Expo and Interview Day
March 11, 2015
This annual event provides employers with the opportunity to talk with students in our MBA, Management, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Mass Communication, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Psychology, English, Government and Sociology, Fine Arts, Criminal Justice and other business and liberal arts disciplines across campus. When you register for the spring career expo, you can make the most out of your trip to Georgia College by attending an open networking event and conducting scheduled interviews.
College-to-Career Fair - Atlanta
April 7, 2015 In partnership with the Georgia Association of Colleges & Employers, this annual event provides employers with a just in time opportunity to recruit for full-time hires and interns.
This annual event has quickly become a tradition for graduating seniors. Senior Picnic kicks off the senior year job search to over 500 senior attendees. Employers attend Senior Picnic to promote their opportunities to seniors. Since implementing this event in 2011, seniors use of career services has increased by over forty percent.
Accounting Career Fair
Contact Dr. Catherine Whelan in the Accounting Department for specific details. Employers who identify additional hiring needs for accounting and finance students throughout the year are encouraged to post jobs on Career Connection.
This casual, outdoor event is open to all employers who offer internships and professional part-time job opportunities for students. If you identify additional internship needs throughout the year, please post an internship on Career Connection.
Graduate & Professional School Fair
Accredited graduate and professional programs are invited to attend this annual event to talk with students who are considering graduate study. Space fills quickly for this event so we recommend registering no later than October 1. We can only reserve space for graduate programs that pay at registration.
Career Opportunities Fair
As our large employment career fair for the fall, employers can expect to meet with strong candidates from Georgia College as well as 24 other small, four-year colleges and universities in Georgia.
