Meet the Career Peer Advisors
The Career Peer Advisor (CPA) program is a registered student organization dedicated to connecting students with career services. As a CPA, Georgia College students can obtain and build their leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. In partnership with the Division of Student Affairs and University Housing, The Career Peer Advisors provide additional programming in the residence halls such as Resume Review Nights on the first and last Monday of each month. Each CPA adopts a residence hall and conducts resume reviews and other programs throughout the year.

Career Peer Advisors complete a two weeks of training on peer advising, interviewing, job and internship search, resume writing, and career services technology. We continue to recruit new Career Peer Advisors each semester. Each Career Peer Advisor receives an hourly wage for their participation hours. Contact the University Career Center for more information.

Career Peer Advisor Alumni Successes
All Career Peer Advisors complete a two-day training program that teaches them how to write resumes and cover letters, conduct an effective job and internship search, advise peers, and interview effectively. As a result, our Career Peer Advisors graduate with the tools needed to conduct a successful job search.
Internships also helped our CPA alumni find career success. Three of our alumni completed internships that led to them finding their full-time jobs.
