Approximately 60 percent of our students pursue a graduate or professional school degree within 5 years of graduation, with many pursuing a degree immediately after graduation. Georgia College offers over 40 programs in the Colleges of Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, and Health Sciences. With just over 5000 undergraduate students in Milledgeville, Georgia College also has graduate programs in Milledgeville, Macon, and Warner Robins.

To gain an understanding of our degree programs and the number of students in each one, please review the academics section of our website. Our small undergraduate programs provide recruiters with a quality over quantity recruitment option.

Registration Standards and Guidelines

For general graduate recruiting, universities must be accredited by an external accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation

Law schools must be accredited by ABA.  New law schools that have provisional ABA accreditation and part of a  larger university accredited by a recognized accrediting body may register for the event.  However, due to limited space, the Career Center may choose to limit the number of such schools that can attend.

Medical schools should be accredited or pre-accredited by LCME.  Foreign medical schools that are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education's National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation (NCFMEA) as having comparable standards to American medical schools may be eligible to register.  However, due to limited space, the Career Center may choose to limit the number of such school that can attend.

Due to limited space, the Career Center may limit the number of schools in specific categories in order to diversify the variety of programs offered to students and to best match the needs and interests of Georgia College students.
