Information for Students
Ever thought about a career in public service? A future in local, state, or federal government may be for you. There are opportunities in government for graduates of every discipline.
Visit our Facebook event for updated details on panelists and participating agencies.
Information for Employers
It is no secret that budgets are tight right now and it is getting tougher to reach out to college students and upcoming graduates about your agency. Careers in Government Day is free opportunity for you to visit campus and educate students about your agency and its impact on the local community, state, and nation. This is not a career fair and you do not need to have current openings in your organization to participate (organizations currently recruiting are welcome to publicize opportunities at this event as well). The purpose of this event is to get students excited about a potential future in local, state or federal government.
If you are interested in participating or would like to know more, please contact Sarah Schanck at sarah.schanck@gcsu.edu or (478) 445-5384.
