Certification Basics
All teacher certification programs at the John H. Lounsbury School of Education are approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC). The PSC grants certificates in three basic "Field" types and at four "Levels."

Basic "Field" types:

S = Service: Service field certificates include such areas as Media Specialist (also known by the term Library Media).

L = Leadership: Leadership certificates have one field - Educational Leadership.
