The Georgia College Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning provides faculty and staff professional development opportunities and experiences that enhance teaching and learning for the benefit of students.


The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning:

Fosters a collaborative, inclusive community of stakeholders engaged in transformative learning

Promotes high-impact pedagogies

Supports faculty in their roles as scholars, especially through mentoring in the scholarship of teaching and learning

Acts as a resource for information on emerging trends in higher education

Advances the assessment process to improve teaching and learning


The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning:

Designs faculty and staff development programs that are aligned with the institutional mission, strategic directions, and strategic focusing initiatives
