University Television (UTV), a unit of the Office of University Communications, provides the day-to-day management and operational support of the broadcast facilities on campus; the Atkinson Hall television studio, DVD duplication center, the campus cable system and MBC TV4, the Governmental/Educational cable access channel on Charter Communications.
UTV staff and student workers provide academic instructional support to the Mass Communication Program through class designed television studio and video production projects.
UTV staff also produces special marketing, communications and publicity programs and videos intended for the university’s external audience, which are coordinated through the Office of University Communications.
Many learning experiences and job opportunities are available to GC students in all of these areas.
The Federal and College work-study programs, faculty-advised class projects, the GC360 and Bobcat Media Production Clubs (RSO’s) and the Mass Communication practicum program, all provide hands-on work with state of the art video production systems.
The Campus Cable System and University Television's Broadcast and Video Production Facilities are all located on the 4th floor of Atkinson Hall on the front campus of GC.
MBC TV-4 (Milledgeville/Baldwin County Government Access Television) is managed and operated by University Television, by special agreement with the City of Milledgeville and Georgia College.

All students must read and understand
As a student at Georgia College, from time to time you will be on campus, in class or at a university designated activity where our campus photographer and/or videographers are present and working to capture visual images. These videos and photos will be used across multiple platforms to help tell the Georgia College story. If you do not want to be a part of these photos or videos, let the videographer or photographer know, and they will exclude you from the shots. If you do not say that you wish to be excluded, you consent to being a part of the photos or video to be used by Georgia College.
