We in Counseling Services have developed a set of presentations that have been widely requested by faculty and staff. These topics can be modified and personalized especially for your classes or organizations. Some examples are:

Referring Students To Counseling Services
If you think that a student would benefit from our services, you may contact our office or encourage the students to contact us; referrals are not necessary. We do not have a waiting list and can usually see students within one week of the request. Please be aware that our services to students are confidential, and in most cases we are unable to provide information to you about the student without his or her written consent.

Emergencies
If you contact us about an emergency or potential emergency, please say so when you call so that we can respond promptly. If you notify us that a student is potentially at risk to self or others, we will complete an emergency assessment as soon as possible.
