The First Martha Daniel Newell Endowed Visiting Scholar, Caitlin O’Connell-Rodwell
This event will feature images from Dr. O'Connell-Rodwell's research on elephants, a public reception, and gallery talk, to welcome GC's first Martha Daniel Newell Visiting Scholar.
Through the spring semester, Dr. O'Connell-Rodwell will meet and work with students, faculty, and the community. Sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences, and on behalf of Martha Daniel Newell by the Georgia College Foundation. Free and open to the public.

National Book Award Winner Jaimy Gordon
Winner of the National Book Award (for her novel Lord of Misrule), Gordon will read from her work and answer questions from the audience. Sponsored by the Creative Writing Program/Department of English and Rhetoric. Free and open to the public.
