MALE Connection
African-American males account for less than 2% of GC’s total population.
Thus, M.A.L.E. Connection (Mentoring African-Americans for Leadership, Education, and Connection) was established in order to provide a support system for such an underrepresented demographic.
This program is part of the University System of Georgia’s African-American Male Initiative (AAMI).
With MALE Connection, GC’s Black men learn networking and leadership skills that are applicable to not only their careers, but also their social lives and civic engagement.
