Ann Simpson Smith Scholarship
Ann Simpson Smith was a nutritionist and home economics instructor at Georgia College. She earned a diploma from GCSU, then known as Georgia Normal & Industrial College, in 1921; and a bachelor of science degree from Georgia State College for Women. She also received a masters degree from the University of Georgia. She taught at GCSU from 1925 to 1969. She was very active in the GCSU Alumni Association and received a Distinguished Alumni Service Award in 1973.
