General Information:

Boys and Girls Club is a youth development organization dedicated to promoting the health, social, educational, vocational, and character development of youth between the ages of 6 and 16.  Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.  Boys and Girls Club programs promote the development of young people by instilling a sense of competence, a sense of usefulness, a sense of belonging, and a sense of power or influence. When this strategy is fully implemented, self-esteem is enhanced and an environment is created which helps boys and girls achieve their full potential.  Some of the core programs offered are: Education and Career Development, Outdoors/Environment Education, Character & Leadership Development, Health & Life Skills, Social Recreation, The Arts, Sports, Fitness, & Recreational Activities.  The following outcomes summarize our expectations and goals for young people in Clubs: Positive Self-identity, Educational, Employment, Social, Emotional and Cultural Competencies, Community Involvement, Health and Well-being and Moral Compass.
