Ed.S. in Education with a concentration in Early Childhood

This degree is available at the Macon Campus but some coursework may be available on the Milledgeville Campus.

The Ed.S. in Education with a concentration in Early Childhood provides advanced study for qualified master educators of young children. Early Childhood Ed.S. students experience an advanced, research-oriented, professional education core that focuses on Authentic Learning Communities and they are able to build upon and expand work and interests begun at the master's level – extending and strengthening their professional, pedagogical and content knowledge. The program prepares advanced practitioners to be Early Childhood Architects of Change and dynamic leaders in their professional community.

Each candidate for the Ed.S. in Education degree is assigned a graduate advisor in Early Childhood Education who serves as a mentor throughout the program and assists the candidate in completing the Program of Graduate Study.
