Library Media (M.Ed.)
The Master of Education degree in Library Media requires a minimum of 36 semester hours of course work. Courses must be included in these categories: professional education, courses in the certification area, and additional program requirements or electives. This degree program must be completed within six years of the date of the initial coursework listed on the Program of Graduate Study. Students may require more than the minimum 36 hours in order to qualify for certification in a particular program area.
The M.Ed. in Library media is a blended program which means there are some face-to-face meetings with the rest of the program's being offered on-line.
The T4 certification in a teaching field is not required for admission to the program; however, field work in a school setting may be required for students who do not possess a teaching or administrative certification. This degree is not offered in the cohort model.
