Host School Agreement

This letter of intent represents an agreement between Georgia College & State University's John H. Lounsbury School of Education and the _______________________ County School System to develop a partnership.
Further, both parties agree:
The purpose of the partnership is to renew simultaneously both educational institutions through working collaboratively to achieve the following goals:
o Increasing P-12 student learning and achievement,
o Mentoring beginning teachers,
o Providing field-placements for teacher candidates to demonstrate outcomes of guarantee, and
o Collaborating in the preparation and development of teachers.
When mutually agreeable, the Public School will provide teachers who are willing to work with Georgia College & State University teacher candidates, clinical faculty, and Mentor Leaders.
When mutually agreeable, the SOE will provide GCSU teacher candidates, Mentor Leaders, and clinical faculty.
This Agreement initially shall be applicable to the schools listed on Exhibit A, attached hereto. By Agreement of the parties, from time to time schools may be added to or removed from, the attached list.
In agreement upon our shared intentions to form and develop a partnership, as described above, at the site of ______________________, we join our signatures below.
This agreement is valid for one year and may be renewed annually by agreement in writing of the parties.
