"The Emerging Leaders program was fantastic for many different reasons: first, it was a great way for a freshman to get plugged into events on campus and learn about resources. Second, it helped me meet many new people who I can now call friends. Third, and most important, it helped me become a better leader."
"The Emerging Leader program serves as a navigation tool for Freshman to find and experience leadership opportunities at Georgia College."

"Emerging Leaders Program has helped me build up my confidence level. I used to be conservative, but after completing the program, I am now able to voice my own opinion and lead others in doing the same. Throughout the program, I learned that the best way to lead is to serve others first, and I have learned how and where to start serving my community through this program."
"The EL program encouraged me to attend campus events and programs that increased my understanding of local and national political and social issues. Without the EL program, I definitely would not have gotten as involved in GC student life as I did and I am so grateful for my amazing experience!"
"Emerging Leaders has taught me to fully commit to what I enjoy. It has shown me how to lead effectively and become a role model for those in my community."
"So much of leading effectively consists of few common sense principles that are often overlooked; I kept finding myself having these aha moments where an important skill just made sense to me more than it ever had before."
