Jennifer A. Townes is an academic librarian with a wide variety of research interests and a rich professional background. She has most recently been a librarian at the Atlanta University Center, where she was the Unit Head for Information and Research Services. Jennifer has also served as the Head of Reference at Saint Augustine’s College (Raleigh) and as a librarian at the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill). Jennifer’s research interests lie in scholarly communication, assessment, and faculty collaboration. She is the coeditor of the Handbook of Research on Disaster Management and Contingency Planning in Modern Libraries. Jennifer has a MSLS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
