Ryan Moser

Adjunct Professor of Trumpet

Ryan Moser is the adjunct professor of trumpet at Georgia College and State University.  Along with teaching at GC, Ryan is an active freelance trumpet player based in the Greater Atlanta area and performs throughout the Southeast.  Ryan performs as a member of the Premiere Brass Quintet and the acclaimed Georgia Brass Band and has performed with the Atlanta Symphony, Albany Symphony, Gainesville Symphony, Georgia Symphony, Ludwig Symphony, Macon Symphony and the New World Symphony.

Along with performing all over the United States, Ryan has also performed internationally in Germany at the Rekkenze Brass Festival in Lichtenburg, Bavaria and has toured mainland China with the Hollywood Concert Orchestra performing in the top concert halls in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, and has appeared as trumpet soloist on Chinese TV in a live broadcast from Yinchuan.

In addition to his work in classical music, Ryan is the top call trumpet player for Heather Hayes, daughter of the late Soul Legend, Isaac Hayes.  He received the Bachelor of Music from Louisiana State University studying with Brian Shaw and the Master of Music from University of Georgia studying with David Bilger and Brandon Craswell.  Additional trumpet studies include Raymond Mase, Kevin Cobb and Louis Ranger at the Aspen Music Festival and School.
