2nd Annual GC Women’s Studies Student Symposium

CALL FOR PAPERS

The Women’s Studies Program at Georgia College is pleased to announce a Call for Papers for its 2nd Annual Women’s Studies Student Symposium.  This event aims to bring together young scholars from across disciplines at Georgia College and beyond for a day of intellectual and creative exchange centered on issues pertaining to Women and Gender. 

Research papers and creative projects such as fiction, poetry, posters and artwork relating to the Women and Gender from a national or global perspective, are welcome.  Interested participants should submit a proposal as an MS Word attachment electronically to Dr. Katie Simon (katie.simon@gcsu.edu) with the following subject line: WMST Symposium <Your Name>.   Deadline for submissions is February 22, 2013.

All submissions should also include the following:

  1. Name of presenter and faculty sponsor/supervisor
  2. E-mail address of presenter
  3. E-mail address of faculty sponsor/supervisor
  4. Title of the presentation and a 200-word abstract of the research paper or creative project
