Institutional Equity and Diversity's Disability Support Services provides assistance and advocacy for GCSU members with disabilities (handicaps) and other individuals or groups as needed. A variety of support services are provided, including individualized instruction in how to compensate for a disability in the academic environment. Compensation skills may be developmental, preventive, or remedial. Services of the department are offered to any student, faculty or staff.
