Training for Search Committees and Departments
Our trainings are targeted at changing attitudes. The Office of Institutional Equity (OIED) provides training by request to departments and search committees on such EEO related issues as:
- Sexual harassment
- Inclusive community
- Cross-cultural communications
- Discrimination prevention
- Affirmative action
- Diversity recruiting
- Special EEO-related "discussions" for faculty groups that may be incorporated into department and chair meetings.
- Co-trainings offered by members of both OIED and HR in the areas of diversity as it permits to recruitment and selection.
