Each year parent borrowers will need to select a lender for their PLUS loan. GCSU provides a comprehensive listing of all lenders that were utilized by our students during the 2009-2010 academic year. The only exception is lenders that are no longer participating in the Federal Family Educational Loan (FFEL) programs. Several lenders will not have contact information listed as this information is not known by the GCSU Financial Aid Office. Further, a link to a database of all lenders that participate in the FFEL programs is provided. You have the right to select any lender that participates in the FFEL programs.

While we have provided a comprehensive listing of lenders, parent borrowers have the right to select any lender that participates in the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) programs. If parents have borrowed under the Federal PLUS program previously, and are satisfied with the lender's service, then we encourage borrowers to select the same lender each year. Multiple loans from multiple lenders could require you to make multiple payments at the same time.
