To access the application for your chosen program of study, please choose one of the following links. Each page will provide a list of programs that begin that semester. If your program is not listed, it is not offered for your chosen term. Please check another term for your program.

PRIORITY APPLICATION DEADLINES

  • APRIL - Summer Semester (including Maymester)

  • JULY - Fall Semester

  • NOVEMBER - Spring Semester

Some graduate programs have admission deadlines that may vary from the posted deadlines. Please review program pages for more information.

Test Scores

If your chosen program of study requires the GRE or GMAT for admission, please request your official test results be sent directly to the Office of Graduate Admissions. Personal copies sent through email, postal mail or fax cannot be used for admission purposes. Applicants should select a test date well in advance of the application deadline. It can take up to 6 weeks after testing for scores to be received by GCSU. Some programs offer test waivers. Review individual program pages for additional information on test requirements and processes.

The institutional code for the GRE is 5252.

The institutional codes for the GMAT are program specific (Please choose Georgia College & State University as the recipient institution on the exam.):

  • MBA Program: 3TC-NH-78
  • MMIS Program: 3TC-NH-34
  • MAAC Program: 3TC-NH-83
Transcripts and Letters of Recommendation

Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution (or equivalent for non-US degree) to be eligible for admission into a graduate program at Georgia College. Official transcripts should be requested from each institution in which an applicant enrolled, regardless of credit earned from that institution This may include, but is not limited to traditional enrollment, dual-enrollment, transient, transfer, graduate, and post-baccalaureate credit. Transcripts should be sent directly from the issuing institution at least 4 weeks prior to the admission deadline to allow for processing and postal delivery. Although courses from a previous institution may be listed on another institution's transcript, an official transcript from each institution is required. Copies and faxes of transcripts are not considered official. 

International transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES member. An official World Education Services(WES) ICAP evaluation is preferred, but if an evaluation is completed by another NACES member, official hardcopy transcripts should be sent to the Graduate Admissions Office from the issuing institution via postal mail. Please note that applicants with foreign Nursing credentials may submit credential evaluations from CGFNS International, IncAfter receipt, all transcripts and evaluations will undergo a final review by the International Education Center.

Letters of recommendation are requested through the online application. To request letters, professional email addresses for recommenders are entered in the online application and a link is sent to recommenders. The link will ask that the recommender either complete a form or submit a written letter of recommendation to the program. Only professional email addresses are acceptable for this purpose. Please contact the Office of Graduate Admissions if recommenders are having issues with the link sent to them.
