The criminal justice program is designed to provide students with a quality liberal arts education that builds on the content of the core curriculum. The focus of the criminal justice program is upon such principles as democracy, rule of law, constitutionalism, civil liberties, equal rights, and the safeguarding of citizens against intimidation and oppression. The program is designed to prepare students for graduate education or for entrance into a career in the criminal justice system at the federal, state, or local level.
