Faculty News: Associate Professor, discusses On-Campus Sexual Harassment

Updated: 07-26-2013

Sara Buck Doude, Ph.D., Associate Professor of  Criminal Justice participated in a panel discussion on Huffington Post Live.  She was joined by  Tucker Reed, Co-President of Student Coalition Against Rape at the University of Southern California and Diane Rosenfeld, Lecturer on Law, Director of Gender Violence Program at Harvard University.  The topic of the discussion was “Lifting the Veil on College Sex Assault.” The federal government and civil-liberties advocates are at odds regarding outdated sexual harassment policies on college campuses. As more and more cases begin to surface it becomes paramount that loopholes in these laws that fail to protect victims on campus are explored.
