Faculty News: Associate Professor Selected as One of the Georgia Governor's Teaching Fellows

Dr. Jerry Herbel, Associate Professor of Political Science & Public Administration was chosen as a Fellow by the Governor’s Teaching Fellows Program and will participate in the 2013-2014 Academic Year Symposium.   Sponsored by the Institute of Higher Education and the Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Georgia, the Fellows will engage in the design and implementation of projects that improve the quality of undergraduate programs.  The symposium will be held on the campus of the University of Georgia and will have 6 different sessions throughout the year.

In addition, Dr. Herbel‘s manuscript, “Public Virtue – Public Vice” was selected for publication in the refereed 2013 Proceedings of the Georgia Political Science Association.
