Graduate Testing Information
Students entering a graduate program at Georgia College must provide acceptable results of their performance on an applicable graduate test, i.e.:
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
- Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
- Miller Analogies Test (MAT)
- Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators (GACE).
Test scores may not be more than 10 years old. Other supporting materials may be required by specific degree programs.
The GC Center for Testing administers a variety of testing programs. National testing programs available through the Center for Testing include the MAT, and the GRE (subject tests only). The GRE general test and the GMAT are available only through computer based testing centers. For more information or to register for a test, please visit the following links:
Beginning summer 2007 admission - School of Education applicants will be required to successfully complete an on site graduate writing assessment in lieu of GRE or MAT scores. To schedule a writing sample, please call the Center for Testing at (478) 445-5016.
