Please join us in congratulating Jennifer Graham, Director of the Women's Center.

The Georgia College's Women's Center has received the American Association of University Women's 2013 Community Action Grant in the amount of $9,897 for a two-year program entitled "Violence Prevention: Using Peer Education for Change".

This program will establish a Peer Educator Training program for students to prevent dating abuse, sexual assault and stalking; provide Educational Response Training to faculty and staff on campus; and continue a successful media campaign. After piloting the program on our campus for one year, GC will take the Peer Educator Training program into the local high school.
