Campus Recycling Centers
Sustainability CouncilRecyclable materials may be deposited at one of two campus recycling centers:
- Centennial- At the southeast corner of the parking lot adjacent to the Franklin St. entrance. Hours are MWF noon - 5:30 p.m.
- West Campus Village- Just north of Building 400, adjacent to the garbage compacter. Hours are TR noon - 5:30 p.m.
To prepare your materials for drop-off at the Recycling Center, please place recyclable goods (Newspaper, Mixed Paper, Plastic #1 & #2, or Aluminum Cans) into clear plastic bags. Materials DO NOT need to be sorted into separate bags, but it is usually easier to transport when sorted into paper and bottles/cans. Cardboard should be broken down flat with tape removed; it does not need to be bagged. For large quantities or bulky items, please email recycle@gcsu.edu.
