EarthWeek April 14-22, 2014

EarthWeek is a celebration of environmental awareness and a promotion of sustainability education.  It includes several major events, such as the Student Green Fee Symposium, EarthFest and Shades of Green.

 Come out to one or more events and join the fun!


Mon 14 Apr  Bike Safety Educational Workshop, 4:30 p.m., Front  Campus
Instructional workshop by Adam Heagy of Oconee Outfitters
Sponsored by the Sustainability Council Transportation Work Group and GC Parking & Transportation Services.

Power Ride, 5 p.m., Front Campus
Community bicycle ride sponsored by the Environmental Science Club. Bring your bike for a group ride around town!

Earth Fest Kickoff Potluck, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., Andalusia Farm. Bonfire, drumming, open mic- everyone invited!

Tue 15 Apr

 EarthWeek Movie Night, 7 p.m., Art & Sciences Auditorium
Sponsored by the Sustainability Council and the
Department of Philosophy and Liberal Studies
