What's your typical day as a community director like?

"As a Community Director my typical day (if there is one) consists of attending meetings, checking and responding to emails, talking to residents/CAs who stop by my office, planning for the next program, meeting and/or email that I need to send. At night during the week (a couple of times throughout the week), I attend programs hosted by my CAs or meetings."
What kind of opportunities have you had to be involved in the university outside of University Housing?

"I have been able to create and advise a student organization, EMPOWER. It is a women's leadership group that focuses on personal development and building community."
How are you able to balance life and work at GC?
