Housing Opportunities for Transfer Students

We are glad you have chosen to consider transferring to Georgia College!  We strongly believe that living in either the residence halls or at The Village Apartments is a key component of of your Georgia College experience.

Students who live on campus have more opportunities to be involved in campus life.  With everything just outside your door, you'll be able to take advantage of the full resources of the university.  National studies have shown us that students who live on campus have higher GPAs and graduation rates than their off campus peers.

Many transfer students prefer the independent lifestyle provided by The Village Apartments.  Living at The Village, you'll enjoy the convenience of an all-inclusive bill and a 12 month contract period - which means you won't have to move out for holidays.  Each apartment features private bedrooms with full-sized beds, spacious bathrooms, and generous common areas (kitchen, living room) that are fully furnished.   Convenient shuttle service is provided to get you to and from main campus for classes or events.

Students looking for the more traditional college experience should consider living in a Central Campus residence halls.  Residence halls feature suite-style bedrooms in which you share a bedroom with another individual and a bathroom with the conjoining room.  Living in a residence hall puts you in the middle of the action - you'll have plenty of hall and campus events to provide entertainment and further your out of the classroom education.
