A Community Director is the primary live-in educator/administrator of a residence hall. Job responsibilities include facilitating a safe, comfortable environment, promoting student and community development, coordinating administrative functions, assisting staff with crisis management, advising community councils, interpreting and enforcing all administrative policies and procedures, and acting as an administrative hearing officer for cases involving alleged student misconduct.
This is a 12-month, live-in position. Compensation includes a furnished apartment, cable, Internet, and a meal plan in addition to a competitive benefits package including tuition benefits and professional development opportunities.

Area Coordinator

An Area Coordinator is a full-time, live-off position within University Housing that provides the overall administration of student learning and housing components within a comprehensive residential living/education program.
Area Coordinators have primary responsibility for meeting the student needs and managing residential operations in an area of 3-5 halls of approximately 800 residents. An Area Coordinator maintains open lines of communication between the Area Coordinators (3), CDs (8), GAs, and CAs (60+) in the buildings and the central office and helps to support a residential population of approximately 2,300 students living in 13 residential buildings/areas.
A Master's degree in college student personnel, student affairs/higher education, counseling, or closely related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a solid background in student affairs, prior live-in residence life experience, and experience with judicial and crisis management. Strong supervisory, communication, administrative and crisis management skills are sought.

The Associate Director of University Housing for Student Development is a full-time position within University Housing that provides overall leadership and vision for the creation, administration and evaluation of a comprehensive residential living/education program serving 2,300 students. The Associate Director for Student Development reports to the Executive Director of University Housing and has primary responsibility for overseeing the residential life component of the department; including coordinating residence hall programming; overseeing student programming budgets; serving as the judicial coordinator and representing the department on university committees and other duties as assigned. The Associate Director provides direct supervision of the Area Coordinators and indirect supervision to the Community Directors.
The Associate Director for Student Development maintains open lines of communication between the Area Coordinators (3), CDs (8), GAs, and CAs (60+) in the buildings and the central office. The on campus population is comprised of approximately 2,300 students living in 13 residential buildings/areas.
A Master's degree in college student personnel, student affairs/higher education, counseling, or closely related field required. Minimum of three years, but five or more years of progressive professional experience working with diverse student groups in a university residence hall environment are strongly preferred.
Associate Director of University Housing for Operations
The Associate Director for Operations is primarily responsible for the daily administrative operations of the department, room assignment process, deposit refund / forfeiture process, financial appeals of charges and other duties.
Housing Marketing Coordinator
The Housing Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the department's messages to parents, students and other audiences. This position coordinates special events and represents the department on various committees.

The Housing Facilities Coordinator works closely with other departmental professionals in the management of a comprehensive housing program serving more than 2,000 residents. The Housing Facilities Coordinator will provide leadership in managing all building and systems operations and has primary responsibility for day-to-day coordination of facility-related operations within residential areas. This position serves as a member of the central leadership team and is responsible to oversee and liaison with those who maintain year-round occupancy preparations, preventive maintenance, facility work orders, custodial services and other operational functions such as key management, door reader systems, life/safety systems and procedures, and integration with other campus systems and processes.
