Parking
To avoid congestion, each vehicle wishing to enter a loading zone must have a Loading Zone Pass. One pass will be included in your pre-opening mailer (which should arrive shortly after July 15). If you are bringing additional vehicles, please download one Loading Zone Pass (jpg) per vehicle, which will be made available in the coming weeks. Please fill in the Loading Zone Pass prior to arrival and have it available for the police officer as you drive in. Time in the loading zone is limited to 20 minutes. Cars left parked in the loading zone after 5 p.m. may be towed at the owners expense.
Pre-Opening Mailer
The Pre-Opening Mailer will be sent to students' home address on July 15. Included in this piece is a packing list, Emergency Medical Contact Information card, Loading Zone Pass, and other information you may find helpful when preparing to move to GCSU. You can click here to view the front of the mailer or the back of the mailer.
Renters Insurance
University Housing cannot cover the loss or damage to student property. Prior to arrival, please consult your homeowner's policy or secure personal property insurance. For more information on personal property insurance, visit the National Student Services, Inc. web site.
Social Dues
Prior to move in each semester (fall and spring) students must pay social dues. To submit payment, please visit MyCATS, click on the Student tab, and then follow the instructions listed under Housing Social Dues. Payment must be received prior to check in at the hall.
Week of Welcome
The Week of Welcome starts when you move into your apartment or residence hall and is a great way to be introduced to the campus and meet new people. Events will be listed here.
